... I've been getting the strangest of dreams. For 2 days straight, I've dreamt of my toys being broken. First day was my 40k stuff, 2nd was my sculpture of Baron Samedi (Yea, i think of it as a toy! MY toy! That I made with MY OWN TWO HANDS!)
Very strange, considering I haven't had a dream since primary school O.o Hmmm...
Oh well, hope this weird thing goes away.
Been very busy also. Not with work, haha, no busyness there. I'm in charge of Fusion Animation, lol. And I seem to be doing most of the work during this period of time. Most of it is currently my concepts, my models. Along with minor project on the side. Hopefully I can complete all modelling, rigging, texturing before my attachment is over, so FY can be spent 100% on animation and effects. Effects, that's very important for this one, heh.
... stuff happened during my absence from this blog this past few days :p Been busy with work, and playing a whole lotta games, hahaha.
Anyway, I bought myself Spore on Saturday and played it non-stop till Sunday. Its that addictive. Abit short, IMHO, I think the cell and creature stage could be longer. But fun game, none the less. Afew bugs and stuff in it, but itll prolly be fixed later. And no, I havent encountered any penis aliens, but I might eventually, in my death UFO.
And then on Sunday I watched Mamma Mia(!) For some strange reason. No. actually it was because my parents booked the tickets for the whole family while I was sleeping. T'was okay, I guess. Kinda grew on me during the show. At first I was like, eh, wtf. Then it was okay :p
Also, Ive been playing this:
Gleam of Force! Some crazy japanese fighting game I read about and wanted to try. Quite fun also, using Ashita alot, that crazy baseball player.
Playind Diablo 2 as well, with a bunch of guys from school, yesss. D2 will forever be a classic and it'll never die.
Played Sins of a solar empire. Was fun at first, but the game takes too long to play. Each game is like 3 hours+, and can sometimes drag on for days.
Mechwarrior 4: Mercs. Pretty fun, never really played any mechwarrior before. Stopped playing it cus I had a whole stack of other games to try >.>
In other news, Kenny left Singapore this week for Canada, best of luck to him. Had his farewell dinner at Clarke Quay, wouldn't mind eating there again. Couldnt see him off at the airport the next day because of work -.- I'm not really one for goodbyes, so yea. See you soon, sometime in the future, dude!
Also, thanks to Hazel and Han ming, for coming down on Friday to have lunch with me! So come visit me whenever you are going to Sunshine plaza. Anyone. Give me a call or something :D
So they turned on the LHC afew days ago, and the universe didn't implode in on itself. What a relief, eh?
But honestly speaking, I totally forgot about it. Oh what a crime, to someone such as me! What a crime to scientific society! The world almost ended, and I totally forgot about it.
Wouldn't it be horrible if it did? If the world ended, and your last minutes were spent doing what... sitting in the office, rendering lights on a silly computer. People spend alot of time doing stupid stuff :P
Figure out you should be doing the thing you love best most of the time, but nope, thats not how the world works. Go to work, go to school, study, work and be unhappy until you die. Hmm, what a way to go. Not a happy thought, innit?
So do the things you enjoy doing. Figure you'll get a shitty future, but if you enjoy your (albeit short) life, who's happiest in the end?
