Escape From Paperwork Island!!!

Well, today I tried to escape from my 'job'. Unfortunately, I failed because 'some people' weren't at the right place at the right time. But at least I managed to evade actual work in the office for several hours, due to my 'Boss' going out to meet clients and me sneaking out to Bugis, and then Orchard, for afew hours (I said I was going for lunch break and never came back!). Take that, Ferris Bueller!

But then I had to go back anyway cuz he called and said "Hey! Where are you? There's still more work to do!" I should have turned my handphone off. Ah, technology, a blessing and a curse :P

Also, for reasons unknown, I have somehow gotten myself even more trapped within my father's work. He says that I have to follow him on a business thing to Penang from Thursday to Monday. Ohshit, I just realised thats 5 days T.T Thats like a week of just following him around and doing nothing.

Hmmph... Insurance people. At least I bought a pile of Trigun Maximum manga for the trip. That should keep me occupied.

Chibi Kuro

I read! I read! I read my tagboard!

Okay, so I recently bought a mini fridge for my room. It is Most Awesome. I named it Chibi Kuro (literally, Small Cooler) yay! I always wanted a mini fridge in my room.

Well, there is not much you can talk about a mini fridge, I filled it with plastic cups and applejuice, if thats what you want to know :P

Oh i also bought some One Piece and Trigun Maximum comics to see what the books were like. Ive seen abit of both shows, and i kinda know the backstory of Trigun, so yea. I kinda like both of them, i think i mught start buying the books, just to see how it goes along.

Also, Ive mysteriously got a job working in my father's office. Hmm, I dont remember agreeing to anything... Filing papers the whole day! Ugh! At least his office is opposite the comic shop, so yay to that!

Im still working on the drawing below, i messed up the cathedral roof T.T Luckily Merekat showed me some perspective shortcuts (She works for Valve!), but that means that i have to get some special architects ruler, called a Haedler Ruler, hopefully they will sell it at NUS.

Rozen Maiden

I have heard of this anime for quite some time now, but Ive never got the chance to watch it. Until now.

I have the full first season of Rozen Maiden in my hands :p Ive watched abit, and it looks pretty spiffy. The animation is very card captor-ish (not that thats a bad thing) The character designs are pretty nice, very victorian.

The story is about this boy called Jun Sakurada who dropped out of school. One day, he recieved a mysterious box containing a strange doll, Shinku. She comes to life and makes him her 'medium', using his energy to fight stuff.

Then there's Suigintou, the evil doll who wants to beat Shinku and all the other dolls in the 'Alice Game' to become the ultimate 'Alice'. Thats where the dolls fight until there is only one.

So Shinku has to help Jun gain control of his life, while fending off attacks from Suigintou.

Yea, pretty interesting show. Go watch it! Shinku demands it!

So, yea...

Today was my brothers birthday (Click Turnip and say 'Hi'). I got him a 1-gig mp3 player. But I felt that wasnt cool enough to cultivate his inner otaku. So we went out to get him some anime stuff.

He got a Temari Statue and a glow-in-the-dark gashapon Itachi. I had to get something too, so i got Rai-Dei the Blade, from Trigun, and an Asuka Langley gashapon figure (I got the one in the blue skirt)Yay! More stuff to add to my statue collection! Hee hee!

My cousin's been telling me to watch Trigun. I've flipped through the mangas in Borders, and wondering if I should get the books instead, cuz the show is old, and I dont really like the animation quality. The characters are cool though.

I also wonder about One Piece, is it really that good? Ive only seen the english dubs, those were horrible, but thats what usually happens when anime gets dubbed in english -_-' They really shouldnt do that, dub anime in English...

Phew almost missed my daily post, its now Wednesday 11.30pm. Well, I have figured out that blogging about my daily life is a boring thing to do, So I shall not blog about 'Oh today i ate lunch lololo!!11' unless it is a real emergency.

So World of Warcraft. Never played it. Dont intend to. Just a little question, whats with the Slithilis bug monsters things? The creation of such creatures was totally pointless. Blizzard didn't really have to create a totally new species of bug creatures. They could have just use the Nerubians! Or did Blizzard totally forget about them???

Okay, enough with the Blizzard bashing. Anyway, my internet connection's been really wonky these past few days. Is it happening to all you other Singapore guys, or is it just me? I cant seem to find anything wrong with my connection... Hmmm... I blame Hitler.

Getting things in Perspective

But its not completed though, I still have to add some sort of background. Hmm...

I also did a little Flash animation of the Pumpkin Man pulling his sword out of his chest.

Also, I am now a Transporter. Not as cool as Frank Martin, though. Instead I transport my sister and cousin to ballet on Mondays. Sigh.

Monday Magenta

Hey all! Well, I decided that I will update Mondays to Fridays. Yea.

Anyway, my brother brought me to play LAN on Saturday. It was like my 2nd time going into a LAN shop. I usually avoid LAN shops cuz their dark and scary, and full of people shouting over DOTA. Hmmm, I played 3 matches of C&C Generals: Zero Hour, i pwned my brother in the first game, then in the next 2 games, he sorta figured out my tactic, so he beat me.

Hmm, I dont really like playing computer games nowadays. Dont ask me to play DOTA. I have an unnatural hatred towards that game. Seriously.

So on Sunday, I went to visit my various haunts. Action City, Absolute Comics and Kinokuniya, all at Bugis. They had a new Courtney Crumrin book out for $11, about the story of young Uncle Aloysius, but I didnt buy it, perhaps I should. Hmm... Also saw a kickass poster with all the TopCow characters on it, but didnt buy that either, although it looked fantastic, :p


On Anime: I went to catch up on Bleach, I stopped afew weeks ago at episode 60. Went to watch until 69. So, the Soul Society arc is over. Ah, so thats why Rukia is always so weak and useless! I like Komamura (That wolf/fox(?) guy), but he didnt really do anything. Hmm, that 10 best fight scenes episode was weird though O.o Well, whats this? Claude, Nova and Ririn in soft toys! I can see such products being made in the future!

Ergo Proxy

For those of you that know me, you know that I am kind of a big uber geek. And what has got me really excited these days is this new anime that just came out in Japan. Its called Ergo Proxy by Manglobe(Who did Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop, FYI) and they have already released the first episode.

Ergo Proxy takes place in a domed city named "Romudo", where people and androids exist in relative peace. But this paradise is immediately shattered when a series of mysterious murders occur. Inspector Ril Meyor and her Autorave partner Iggy, of the Citizen Information Bureau, are dispatched to investigate the case. She is soon attacked by a creature, neither man nor machine, who is drawn to her for reasons unknown, and learns about a mysterious event called 'Awakening'

It looks pretty good from what Ive seen so far, the animation looks top notch. The character designs are fantastic and the dark atmosphere fits pretty well with the story.

There have been afew fansubbed versions floating around recently. This one is on Youtube, so it should be okay to watch.

Hello, Peoples!

Well, this is my blog. I plan to fill it up with useless spam.

Hmm, Valentines day went by rather uneventfully for me, went to some funny chinese restaurant. Gosh, I hate chinese food. They had some nice chicken though :p

Anyway, more about me. I'm an artist currently doing nothing cuz I completed my O-levels, waiting till April for poly term to start. I plan to do a comic eventually, still working out some major chinks in my non-existant schedule. (Ive only done 4 pages in 3 months! O.o And I plan to redo them cuz they're so bad T.T)

Here are the two main characters of my comic, codenamed 'Project M' so that you guys dont steal the actual name before im finished, you sneaky shitz
