Final Fantasy

Hahaha, so DMD Orientation ended for us today. Wow, these 3 days were so fun. Like extremely!

Today, we had to design our group board. It had to connect with our group name and our skit. And since our skit was about ninjas, we decided to make our board a giant ninja scroll. Haha, complete with our 'Hidden village' symbol (a big calligraphy question mark in the middle) and bloody thumbprints (You know? Like when u summon stuff, u smear blood on the seal?) and like our names arranged around it in like a spiral.

So our board looked pretty cool, like pretty awesome, cuz our board was very attention grabbing. Black, white and red in the middle. I dun have any pics right now, but I'll try to get some, haha. Pretty cool, haha I cant stop saying that! (Hey, if any of you guys have the pics, pls send to me okay? heehee)

We also had to create a skit based on a random fairy tale, but must change everything, names, settings,blabla, but the core story must be the same. So we made 'Zack and the ninjas', based off jack and the beanstalk, lol!

Our skit was pretty messy, I admit, haha, but at least we had fun. Yea! Thats the most important thing, the fun.

So yea, thats what we did today, lol. Wow, damn tired already. Haha, so school starts on the 17th of April. Then we'll see each other again, haha yea!

Yea, so today we had mass games, lol. Quite fun. Had this weird game called Fairy tale charades. Haha, we won that. Because we are weird. Haha.

Oh yea, we also got assignments today. Draw 5 things, like anything u like, lol! But must fill up the whole paper. Also dun understand why art teachers dun like mechanical pencils. I hope I dun get that mecha pencil confiscater woman.

Also had to plan a little skit for tomorrow, final day. I'll tell you how it goes tomorrow heehee

Anyway, today was orientation day at Nanyang Poly. Haha, had quite alot of fun, surprisingly, cuz orientations for me were usually boring things where no one talked to each other. But this time, stuff was different. I talked to peoples, hahahaha!

The groups that were given to us at the orientation was going to be our class for the rest of the year. Quite cool, meeting new people. Hola to all you peeps, Jackson, Shafiq, Eugene, Geok Hui, and others, haha!!!

Also, there were afew Barker guys doing the same course as me. Quite a nice surprise, haha. Puay Chai and Samuel Ong. And also Kevin Chua (once he gets his stuff sorted out)

We had a little orientation game at the end of the day. We were each given a movie title and had to draw it out in 15 mins, without using words or numbers. Then other people had to guess what it was. I got Moulin Rouge, lol! In the end, I won 'Best Drawing', though my Nicole Kidman didnt really look like her, Hahaha! Its been a long time since I saw that movie anyway, kinda forgot what everything was like :P

So yea, tomorrow is another day of orientation. Mass games and stuff. Ha!

So, My poly orientation begins tomorrow. Mmm, yea. I wonder what that's like, poly life. Should be interesting.

Hmmm, I feel like bowling. Haven't really bowled in a long time. What's up with that, eh? Might be because no one wants to go bowling with me :(

It seems breaks are bad for me. I took a break from drawing my comic and look what happens. Ugh, now I have to get back into the drawing groove again. It is always difficult for me to start something, but once I start, I won't stop till I'm like... lazy or sumthing. Which happens quite often. Hmmm...

Well anyway, I'm gonna take up Kendo in poly. They have that as a CCA. Hahaha, awesome. Then later I'm gonna wander the earth and be all Kenshin and stuff, because we all know Kenshin is awesome.

Mmm, so I was typing this post, when there was like a blackout, so this is the second time I'm writing this.

Anyway, my cousins came over during the week. We played both Halo and Halo 2 during our free time, cuz we were busy doing stuff during the day. I am proud to say that I am still the Halo king! Hahahaha!

Teh Three-Sixty

Josh invited a bunch of us over to his house today to play with his new Xbox 360. It was pretty cool, with the wireless controllers and stuff.

Played DOA4, though I was quite a noob at it, although not totally noob, since my fighting game of choice is Soul Calibur 2 (combo buttons are different, see?), and I know my basic controls and stuff, not just button mashing like some gay ass.

Also played Perfect Dark Zero on it. Was much better at it, since the controls were kinda like Halo 2, except that the crouch button was different and there was a 'roll' action.

Though I wont get a 360 just yet, I figured I would wait a while for the price to go down before I go get it. Then I'll get 99 Nights and Gears of War and this mech game that I cant remember the name of right now (Chrome Hounds? I think thats what its called)

So Pure Pwnage Episode 10 came out today. I feel like this was one of the best episodes they made so far. Kinda emotional episode, this one. I wont give out anymore spoilers, so go watch it. You can go give it a download here

Meanwhile, Turnip made a new flash animation:Fight 1. He got quite good reviews, so thats pretty cool. Congrats to him.

Work in Progress

So today I recieved my poly application thingy. It came in a big white envelope. There were lots of papers in it. Luckily, I finished doing all the stuff that was needed with my mother's help, yay.

I feel like picking Kendo as a CCA. That would be kinda cool, since my cousins took some other kind of weapons art(Fencing). So that would be like Mitsurugi(me) vs Raphael(my cousins). Haha.

Anyway, I have 'officially' started work on my new comic story. Hopefully, the starting wont be such a bitch, like my first one. Feels quite good to start something properly. Find out more of my uber-top-top-secret project on MSN! Guess my e-mail :p

Had a little chat with Jareth today. Seems his life is very boring. He said so himself. I told him to do interesting stuff, like learn amateur rocketry and stuff, you know? Cool stuff.

Episode 2: Confession

So I just watched episode 2 of Ergo Proxy, titled: Confession.

The plot thickens. It seems all evidence of Proxy's attack has been erased by the director, Raul Creed, as if he dosent want anyone to know about it. Rin is let off the case and ordered not to do further investigation. Yet the appearance of the Proxy still lingers in her mind.

Meanwhile, Proxy goes on the prowl, chasing after a man named Vincent Law for reasons yet revealed. Hmm...

Well, we'll just have to wait for episode 3! Anyway today I woke up at 3pm... Even though I slept early last night. What is this, I ask you? When I sleep at 4am, I wake up at 9... Nothing much happened, played some starcraft with my bro, got pwned by him as usual. Stupid cloaking Wraiths.

Vampiric Aura

Remember when I said I could pass as a 30 year old? Yea. Today I went off with some new friends (Yan aka Taily, Mitzi and Boon Heng, Hope I spelled ur names proper!) to watch Underworld Evolution. Pretty good movie. Those blue vamp eyes are so cool. Lots of blood and gore (whaddya expect from a vamp movie???) and unexpected nudity, but that was okay. Vampires are supposed to exude uber sexuality anyway.

Anyway, I also got myself more vampire goodies. Hellsing: The Dawn and Hellsing Ultimate, yayayay!

Hellsing: The Dawn is a manga published in japan's weekly magazine 'Young King Ours'. There are 6 chapters so far, and i have all of them, untranslated though, but seeing Young Walter kick werewolf ass is snazzy-errific! Seeing Young Alucard comes as a surprise, cuz I always thought he was like, big size all the time, since he's over 500 years old. He couldnt be a kid when Walter is like 16! It must be a control art restriction or sumthing.

Hellsing Ultimate is the new Hellsing Anime, its not a continuation, as you all had believed. It restarts from the very beginning, when Ceres was still human. Ultimate follows the manga much more closely though, page for page. Since they got a higher budget, that means more CGI effects in Ultimate too. I cant wait for the uber nazi killing bits to start. Zorin Blitz face grind, anyone?

So today I went to the airport today to see a friend off. He's going overseas to study, so good luck with that. Yea. Also met up with Thow in the afternoon, we discussed some comic stuff, because . Other than that, nothing much happened.

Okay, Ive decided to push Project M to the side for a while, while I work on a new comic, one with a much simpler storyline. Its a fantasy story, thats all I want to tell you right now, because it is a secret:p

Anyway, today I did nothing much, doodled some comic characters and stuff. Hmm, nothing much to talk about. Josh appealed and got into ACJC, congratz to him.

Apparently I look old, like 30 year old old. Hmmm. Cuz I went out with my Aunt and some person said something along the lines of "Is that your husband?" Like O.o And my sister's friend said "Is he your father?" O.o

Also, Solar Death Ray! Terry pang said it was a hoax, but screw him!(But it might be, cuz if the Mythbusters cant do it, no one can? Oh, my faith in cool stuff has been shaken!) Disproving my Perpetual Energy Space Generator. At least I know this one isnt a hoax.

Today I tired to escape my job again. At first, my original plan was to wake up earlier than everyone and sneak out. But I woke up too late, so I failed that bit. Luckily, I had a Plan B, which was to sneak out while my boss was doing some last minute work on his com. That succeded, to a certain extent. Cuz I was halfway to the bus stop when my phone rang, and then I managed to stall for abit, like this:

Boss: "Hello? Where are you?"
Me: "Where are YOU?"
Boss: "Im in the house, where are you?"
Me: "I dunno lol, where are you?"
Boss: "Hurry up, what are you doing, dont waste time!"
me: "I dunno, lol bye bye."

Then he caught up to me in the car when I was at the main road. Next time I wont take the straight road out :p

Anyway, after work, I went to get some stuff for my brother. I went to Funan to ask if they still had Starcraft battlechest cuz i wanted to play with my bro using this weird LAN thingy called Hamachi. Very cool. I highly recommend downloading it. Its like LAN, but internet. No lags, but can play with anyone in the world, very cool.

I also saw the Xbox 360 at Funan. I went to try it out, pretty snazzy. Played Kameo on it. Also saw Josh's bro at Funan, also playing with the 360. But I prolly wont get the 360 when it comes out, maybe after afew months, when the price has gone down.

13 Hour Monday

Oops, I'm late for Monday's post. We'll just call it 'Late Monday' :P

So yea, I lost track of time cuz I was watching my sister's 'The Incredibles' collectors edition DVD. Quite an amazing show, even though Ive seen it before. I was watching the 'Making of' part in the DVD, and I tell you, the amount of time and effort put into this movie is astounding.

Pretty excited cuz I would start doing stuff like this in poly (I took Digital Animation, FYI. And at Nanyang Poly, too)

I'd figured it be pretty cool if one day, I would make like some animated movie with my characters in it like that. Fantastic!

Also, today, while i was having dinner at Mad Jacks, some lady came over my table and asked me if I wanted to participate in a 'Design a Mad Jacks Mascot' contest thing since they figured out I drew stuff(cuz I was always drawing when I wait for my food to come). I said Okay, gave them some contact info and stuff. Yea.
And now Im waiting for them to call me or sumthing.

Yea, today I went off to meet up with some friends for lunch (Josh, Thow, and Chris) at Sakae Sushi at Wheelock Place. Pretty cool, we talked about a pile of stuff. Then we walked about abit. Thow kept on going to see his survey friends/fiends, we kept on running away from them lol.

After that we went to Josh's house and played some Xbox games. We played Crimson Skies (Why does everyone have that game???)Then DOA:U and 3, but I wasnt very good at it cuz I rarely play the DOA games (I play the Soul Calibur games instead :P So sad that SC3 is on PS3) And after that some X Men: Legends, very weird game, the characters dont look like the proper characters.

Watched some anime with Thow and Josh. We watched Noein (which was pretty weird), FMA and Mai-Otome (also pretty weird, but many people are watching the Mai shows, what is it about actualy???)

Then I went back with Thow. So thats what I did today. Pretty fun, Lets do this again some other day!

So today I went for my annual asthma checkup. Nothing much, i got some pills and nasal sprays.
