... can't sleep nowadays. I don't know why. It's very weird. It's like I'm never feeling sleepy. I'm like, feeling fine the whole day.

On top of that, that neverending day thing, I also have nothing to do. Yea, my life is pretty empty most of the time now.

Actually I do have several mini projects lying about, but meh, I don't have the mood to work on them. Hmmm :(


Also, I'm graduating this friday. Hmmph, what a hassle. And since they only gave us 1 ticket each, we can only invite 1 guest. Of course my parents want to go, they're very proper people. Sigh, so much trouble. If I had things my way...


And then, I also got accepted into NTU.Got the letter like 2 months back or something. I'm not terribly excited. I'm not excited at all. I wonder if going there is the better way to go? I doubt so. I'd rather start working and get, you know, real industry experience instead of some 'paper qualification'. Well. we'll just have to wait and see what happens after army.

Yup, things are currently looking very dull. I'm not really looking forward to anything.

So today I watched Star Trek. I admit I never really followed the series, but I do know my stuff, bits and pieces here and there, more of the Picard/Data stuff than the Kirk/Spock stuff actually.

But this new 'revival' of the franchise is really fun, its easier for this new generation of nerds and geeks to get into it :D


Anyway, swine flu is kiinda getting around? I dunno, people have been falling sick and shit lately. I was sick for abit, but then I beat it into submission with pills and alcohol, hahaha. Really works, depending on how you're feeling.


I recommend for colds:

3 vitammin C tablets
1 shot of hard liquor (Anything above 20% just to be safe:D)


Everyday until you feel better. I took this for 2 nights and it killed everything.



For fevers its abit harder:

So other than metalwork and machinery, been going for driving lessons for some time now. Pretty crap to drive around here. So many cars, everything is so sloowww, not like in Germany.

I havent been drawing lately. No inspiration, I guess. Of course, things are still exploding in my head, lazers and shit, but its the same old kabooms and blammos. I need something new, methinks.

I feel like buiding things. I bought a sheet of vinyl leather, gonna make some shit with it, hopefully. I will be needing some brass (or aluminium) piping and some acrylic sheets. And a lathe, ohhh I need a lathe.

Hows life been treating ya? I've unofficially completed school. Yup. Another chapter of my life, closed. Was an awesome chapter though. I'm gonna miss it. I liked it so much more than secondary school, tbh. Sec school was dreary. Poly was 3 years of pure awesome.

Well, now its the army in about a few months time for me. Hmm... Freelancing and cramming my life with projects. I don't wanna become stupid! Nononononono! Pale horse! Save me pale horse!

Also, am learning driving. Am changing gears like a pro. Am accelerating. Am afraid of the real roads :( Will run over children one day, I just know it. Children and old people O.o

Ah, I'm back at home, after so long. Been staying in school the past few weeks, working on Fusion. Working in school, overnighting, I much enjoy it, but eventually...

aargh, i know it sounds horrible, but I dont really like staying at home. There, I said it. Its damn terrible, I can feel the rot. Everything is stagnant in the house. No one does anything, so whats the point of hanging around there? Everyone is doing their own stuff, theres no real point for me to be there.

What can I do there? Stay in my room and play computer games all day long. Thats damn terrible. My home com has been acting weird for weeks and I have discovered the freedom of not-being-glued-to-games-and/or-24-7. I felt so free, not seeing the damn computer, staying in school and doing proper work instead of rotting at home everynight playing Warhammer online. Damn shit, computer games.

I dunno, damn. Theres nothing to do at home, no one talks about anything interesting, I just dont really care for much except for my work.

Lately...

... I've been getting the strangest of dreams. For 2 days straight, I've dreamt of my toys being broken. First day was my 40k stuff, 2nd was my sculpture of Baron Samedi (Yea, i think of it as a toy! MY toy! That I made with MY OWN TWO HANDS!)

Very strange, considering I haven't had a dream since primary school O.o Hmmm...

Oh well, hope this weird thing goes away.

Been very busy also. Not with work, haha, no busyness there. I'm in charge of Fusion Animation, lol. And I seem to be doing most of the work during this period of time. Most of it is currently my concepts, my models. Along with minor project on the side. Hopefully I can complete all modelling, rigging, texturing before my attachment is over, so FY can be spent 100% on animation and effects. Effects, that's very important for this one, heh.

A Bunch Of...

... stuff happened during my absence from this blog this past few days :p Been busy with work, and playing a whole lotta games, hahaha.

Anyway, I bought myself Spore on Saturday and played it non-stop till Sunday. Its that addictive. Abit short, IMHO, I think the cell and creature stage could be longer. But fun game, none the less. Afew bugs and stuff in it, but itll prolly be fixed later. And no, I havent encountered any penis aliens, but I might eventually, in my death UFO.


And then on Sunday I watched Mamma Mia(!) For some strange reason. No. actually it was because my parents booked the tickets for the whole family while I was sleeping. T'was okay, I guess. Kinda grew on me during the show. At first I was like, eh, wtf. Then it was okay :p

Also, Ive been playing this:



Gleam of Force! Some crazy japanese fighting game I read about and wanted to try. Quite fun also, using Ashita alot, that crazy baseball player.

Playind Diablo 2 as well, with a bunch of guys from school, yesss. D2 will forever be a classic and it'll never die.

Played Sins of a solar empire. Was fun at first, but the game takes too long to play. Each game is like 3 hours+, and can sometimes drag on for days.

Mechwarrior 4: Mercs. Pretty fun, never really played any mechwarrior before. Stopped playing it cus I had a whole stack of other games to try >.>


In other news, Kenny left Singapore this week for Canada, best of luck to him. Had his farewell dinner at Clarke Quay, wouldn't mind eating there again. Couldnt see him off at the airport the next day because of work -.- I'm not really one for goodbyes, so yea. See you soon, sometime in the future, dude!

... woke up damn early today. Woke up at 2AM O.O Hahaha, thats cus I was damn tired yesterday, went back after work and immediately fell asleep, no shower or anything, just plomp down and zzz.

Anyway, did some drawing this morning, was actually thinking of going for a night swim, but meh, lazy. Maybe some other time =D

IAP is pretty much standard stuff, nothing really fancy doing or anything. I AM an intern after all :P Waiting for my pay, and I've only been working for, what, 2 days, hahaha. Money money money, then I can buy a DS!

Oh wow, lots of stuff has happened over this almost 2 years of quiet time. Lots of stuff. Lost abit, got abit. All for the better, I say.


New friends and old ones. A whole truckload of really cool people :D Wow, I really know a lot of people, and a lot of people know me. I'm really happy with all my friends, unfortunately some are leaving, and also, there's army to go to, eventually we all have to part, but hopefully we'll all manage to get together one day :D That would be awesome.

Also lots of new skills I've gotten. My painting's improved, I guess, but its not always constant. Fluctuates, you see. And my drawing, too. Haven't drawn the Mechanation crew in a while, busy with Otherworld. Lots of stuff in there, hopefully we'll finish off nicely and it'll be great. Actually been trying to get back into the gritty noir-action-romance-vengeance-mad-ass nuclear world these past few days (actually yesterday :P) and hopefully juggle the other world of magic-and-exploration grimdark-yet-lighthearted wow-it-looks-like-every-ff-game-plus-guildwars-plus-dinotopia-plus-alotofothercrap at the same time.

Anyway, started back on my warhammer40k stuff. Haven't touched my nids since 2000. Got a carnifex for my birthday, yay! Still waiting for the stock of earth magnets to arrive in the shop, don't want to jam my fex with one weapon configuration for the rest of his life :D Gonna make an alt unyu head for him, so cute.

Started playing DND. Hah, I'm such a nerd, but since when have I not been? XD A Gnoll rogue, with some crazy goals he wants to achieve. Building a flesh golem, for one. Hahaha, and I thought getting the bodies was the difficult part :P


Came back from a chalet about a week ago. Was actually my first time, wow. Quite fun, night cycling and whatnot. Barbeque, guitar hero, not sleeping, heh. So this is what its like, I kinda like it :)

And lastly, going off to work next week. Gonna work at VHQ post at sunshine plaza. Looking forward to it, lots of good food around there. Hopefully I can handle the job, shouldnt be a problem. The pay's good, the work looks promising, Im so glad Im not in some babyshit company, yessssssss!
